God
The eternal (no beginning, no end) Creator of all things. Our God is immutable, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, jealous, just, and the final judge of every living thing.
Jesus is:
God revealed in flesh through the womb of a virgin.
A gift of God.
A sacrifice without spot or blemish.
For our sins He was brutaly beaten, crucified, died, was buried, arose on the third day by His own power and ascended to the right hand of the Father to intercede for us.
Holy Spirit is God in Spirit given to indwell in the believer that he may be able to walk in the Holy Spirit and live life according to His will as he purposed before the fall of man.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is a translation of the true Word of God. We believe that the original manuscripts of Greek and Hebrew is the original Word of God. Therefore, when choosing a version, you must choose a version that is closest to the original manuscripts.
Salvation
We believe there are five steps to salvation.
We believe there is only one way to heaven and Jesus is His name.
We do not believe in easy believism.
1. Believe
We believe that you must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Believing that He is God and that He came down from heaven in the form of flesh through the womb of a virgin, was crucified, died, was buried, and rose from the tomb on the third day by His own power and ascended to the right hand of the Father and is interceding for us.
2. Repent
Turn from your sins and turn to God with no intention of ever looking back.
You give up your sins and sell out to God 100%.
3. Confess to God
We must confess our sins to God and admit to being a sinner.
4. Ask for Forgiveness
We must ask God to forgive us of our sins and trespasses and accept the righteousness of Jesus.
5. Confess Before Men
We must confess our Lord and Savior before man. For if we are ashamed of Him before man, He will be ashamed of us before the Father.
We believe in water baptism after salvation in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. This is a representation of the old man going under and dying and the new man in Christ coming up.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name for a fuller spiritual life. We do not believe you can live a successful christian life outside of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We believe justification is the unjust being made just through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is by grace and grace only. Our works or anything we do cannot merit favor with God. It is still the blood, always has been, always will be. If you get to heaven, you will go through the blood.
Sanctification
We believe sanctification is being set apart for the purpose of God to be made holy. We believe there are three aspects to sanctification.
1. Positional sanctification if the fact that God declares a Christian to be absolutely holy the moment he or she believes in Jesus Christ.
2. Progressive sanctifictation is the process in a Christian's life in which he or she is made progressively more holy.
3. Ultimate sanctification is what occurs at death, when a Christian is absolutely and permanently free from the very presence of sin and is perfected in God's sight.
So, progressive sanctification is the process of taking what we are positionally, and what we will be ultimately-and progressively making it reality in our Christian life.
Spiritual Gifts
We believe in the Spiritual Gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues and interpretation of tongues. Without the proper tools, how can we carry out God's work?
As Jesus told us, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also and greater works than these, he will do because I go to the Father. Jesus left His power and works for us to carry on.
We believe in living a sinless life. When the woman was brought to Jesus that was caught in the act of adultery, He told her, "Neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more." If she had not been capable of sinning no more, He would not have told her to do so. This does not mean that we live a perfect life. To live perfect, we live life without the capability of sinning. To live a sinless life, we live life capable of sinning, but choosing not to. Sin is a choice.
We believe in observing the Lord's Supper often in remembrance of our Savior.
We believe that sin is anything that separates us from God, anything that breaks fellowship with God.
If it is not of God-
If it does not bring honor to God-
If it does not bring glory to God-
Then it is of satan and it is sin.
Sin is a choice, you choose to sin.
We believe in living a sinless life.
Satan
We believe that satan is the prince and power of the air and the prince of darkness. We believe he has power to possess the lost and oppress and influence the saved. We believe that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We believe he is the origin of sin and influences all to commit sin.
We believe hell is a real, literal, physical place. It is a place of everlasting damnation. We believe hell to be of outermost darkness, a bottomless pit and unquenchable flames. We believe hell was created for satan and his demons but because of man's rebellion against God, all who die without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, or who is living in open, deliberate sin, will spend eternity in this place of torment.
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ
We believe the second coming of Christ will be in three parts over a seven year period.
We believe in a pre-tribulation catching away of the church. This will be the beginning of a seven year tribulation which will be a period of God's unleashed wrath. We believe a trumpet will sound, Jesus will step out on a cloud, the dead in Christ shall be raised and we that are alive and remain shall be caught up in the air to live with our Lord and Savior. We believe in the middle of the tribulation, Jesus will step out and call His two witnesses home. At the end of the tribulation, Jesus will step out with His saints on white horses and return to earth to rule and reign for a thousand years.
